Josef Nadek Releases
[zak]

August 18, 2009

From Innsbruck, Triol, Austria, Josef Nadek creates mindblowing dark ambient. Today Josef released his newest epic masterpiece entitled [zak]. I had a couple questions to ask Josef about this release, and he was happy to answer.

What was the inspiration for [zak]?

I first wrote the track just for myself when reading the book "WWZ" by Max Brooks, to have a kind of background ambience.
I had this picture in my head of a locked room, a corpse with a serious headwound by a bullet and a military radio on a dusty table, sending every few minutes an automatic SOS signal, in my head, while the streets are overtaken by the walking dead.

How is [zak] being released?

Nathan of the TVK Netlabel liked the stuff and made me an offer to release the song on his label, which I accepted.
There will also be a CD-R version of the track in the near future limited to 99 discs.

It should be noted that the CD-R version will be released by Josef Nadek, and should be available in roughly two months. Keep your eyes on Funeral Rain Zine for more info. Meanwhile, you can download [zak] by clicking the image below.

Josef Nadek can also be heard on MySpace.
