Asphyxiator (Vocals/Drums/Vodka Abuser) and Necrotica (Guitar/Bass/Whiskey Demolition) comprise Demonic Cremator from Scotland. They were kind enough to submit themselves to the probing questions of General Blaspheme.
Who is Demonic Cremator, and what kind of music is it?
A! We are Raw Fuckin' Scottish Black Metal!!
How long have you two been playing as Demonic Cremator?
A! Around a year ago we had the idea to go for this, and basically we had to do this to hear the music we wanted to listen to.

The name Demonic Cremator kicks ass. Who thought of it?
N! We both came up with a few names, the name sort of came up by mistake and we soon realised that it was the best one out of the lot!
I understand you've recently released an E.P. with Poland's Ugly Cunt Records. What can you say about that?
N! The new E.P is based on the serial killer Dennis Nilsen who was born in our town, we thought it would be cool to write something on him. It's three continuing songs on one track. It's Very limited edition, only thirty copies have been made, all with new artwork and new pictures. If you're quick you can get one from Ugly Cunt Records.
Other than the kinds of music you perform, what do you listen to? Are there any particular bands you'd like to namedrop as favorites or influences?
A! Well we listen to lots of stuff you know, but you can hear our influences i'm sure in the music and thats no bad thing.
What kinds of hobbies are you into, other thank making music of course?
N! Music is the main one but i also love photography and travelling.
A! No hobbies at all, just music.
Is there anything that we can look for on MySpace, or other places on the web, that feature you in non-D.C. roles? (Past bands, side projects, etc.)
N! There are other side projects but not on the web.

Seeing as how Demonic Cremator is a duo, logistics for doing shows seem to be an ass pain. Do you do shows? And if so, do you continue as a duo, or are there hired guns for live settings?
A! We are in talks about this right now, but personally i would like to do a select few events at some point, but the main thing is to right better more bestial music.
When you're making new music, how does the process usually go?
A! It starts with a riff by either of us, then it begins the growing process. Lyrics are always last but i have the ideas about the subjects from what is going on. It is not all strictly satanic.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
N! Keep your eyes peeled for new D.C stuff soon, we're currently looking for a label to release our cd's to vinyl. Aslo, new album coming soon!!
A! Buy our albums!
